SNYDER, DOYLE E. - age 76, of Knoxville, passed away at 8:15 p.m. Sunday evening, September 9, 2001, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a retired truck driver by trade and was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Jessie Snyder; brothers, Frank Blair, John Snyder, Tom Snyder, and Turner Snyder. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sandee and Byron Chambers of Talbott; grandchildren, B. J. Chambers, Jr. and wife, Gina, and Lexann Chambers; great-grandchildren, Landon Shane and Madison LaShae; sisters, Irene Styles of Lenoir City, Belva Horne of Knoxville, and a special friend, Regina Peters. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday morning, September 12, 2001, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Kodak with Reverend Byron Chambers officiating. Military honors will be given by the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening, September 11, 2001, at the funeral home. Arrangements by Farrar Funeral Home, in Jefferson City.
