May 3, 1926 - January 4, 2016 Resided in Morristown, TN Elsie Fay Smith Damon, 89, of Morristown went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 3, 2016. She was born May 3, 1926 in Kodak. Faye proudly served our nation in the United States Navy. She retired from GTE Government Systems in Mountain View, California. She had an affinity for music and enjoyed playing the piano and singing hymns. Faye was a devoted fan of the Gaither's and an avid reader. She loved her Lord and her family with all her heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Damon, Jr.; parents, Addison and Murrell Smith; brother, Jack Smith; sister, Phyllis Hill; and grandchildren, Mary Denise Ashby and James Damon Ashby. Faye is survived by her daughters, Lynne Ashby and husband, Bill, and Laurie Barrett and husband, John; grandchildren, Bill Ashby, Jr., David Ashby and fiancé, Aurora Smith, Janna Barrett, Julie Foreman and husband, Steven; and her great-grandsons, Clouden and Camron Foreman. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Funeral Service 2 PM Saturday, January 9th in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with the graveside service to follow at Beech Springs Cemetery. Rev.
