Theodore Roosevelt Ellis , 82, of Dandridge, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 30, 2005, at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee.
He was employed by Heekin Can Co. before his retirement in 1987.
He was a faithful member of Fox United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School for many years.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilda Worth Ellis , and his parents, Joseph B. and Daisy (Nichols) Ellis .
Theodore is survived by his wife of 16 years, Violet (Fain) Ellis , of Dandridge; sons and daughters-in-law, G. Lynn and Sandra Ellis , of Cookeville, Tenn., and Darrell K. and Jane Ellis , of Dandridge; granddaughter, Leslie Brynn Ellis , of Cookeville, Tenn., and brother, Lincoln W. Ellis , of Maryville, Tenn.
The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, February 1, 2005, at 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Muriel Myers officiating.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, February 1, 2005, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mr. Theodore R. Ellis .
