Trula Gladys Seaton Sutton, 98, of Sevierville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 15, 2005 at Sevier County Health Care Center. Trula was a longtime member of the Roberts United Methodist Church. Preceding Trula in death is her husband, Phillip Sutton; parents, George Washington and Daisy Ogle Seaton; brothers, Clyde, Buford and Roy Seaton. Leaving behind to mourn her passing, but celebrating her life are her sons, Rex Sutton and Betty, Max Sutton and wife Barbara all of Sevierville; grandchildren, Todd Sutton and Diana Sutton; sister, Ruby Rainwater and husband Clyde of Knoxville. Besides the immediate family, Trula will be missed by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends whose lives she has touched throughout the years. Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2005 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ashley Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow the service at Roberts Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 17 at Rawlings Funeral Home. The family would like to express their thanks to all of the Sevier County Health Care Center for the loving and caring service they provided.
