Mrs. Mitchell is preceded in death by her parents John R. and Connie Rolen and son Leroy Mitchell. Survivors include her husband, Franklin Mitchell; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Robert Smith; daughter-in-law, Sharon Mitchell; grandchildren, Korey Mitchell, Dalton Mitchell, Derick Tarwater, Robbie Smith and Olivia Smith; brothers, Johnny Rolen and wife Charlotte, Glen Rolen, Terry Rolen and wife Mattie, Hugh Lynn Rolen; sister, Mildred Atchley and husband Ronald; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 1-2 PM Thursday with funeral service to follow at 2 PM in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Wells officiating.
