Georgia was born in Overton, TN, on January 16, 1920 to the late Sammie Bilbrey and Sallie Livingston Bilbrey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Samuel Romines and several brothers and sisters, from a family of 10. Her survivors include her: Son: Harvey Thurman “Doc” Bilbrey and wife Peggy of Willow Spring Grandchildren: Shea Miller of Willow Spring and Christy Bilbrey of Fuquay-Varina, NC Great-grandchildren: Madison Miller of Willow Spring Several step-children Brothers: Roy Lee Bilbrey of California, Frank Bilbrey of Livingston, TN Sisters: Cleo Harris, Clara Sells, both of Livingston, TN In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 1241 Old Fairgrounds Road, Willow Spring, NC 27592. Family and friends will meet 2 PM Thursday, January 10th, in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens in Pigeon Forge for graveside service and interment with Rev. W.A. Galyon officiating.
