CARNES, TISHIA ANNA LOU, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Fairpark Health Care Center. She was born July 31, 1917 to John S. Rogers and Ida Reagan Rogers in the Cold Springs Community of Blount County. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and retired from Blount Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Charles T. Carnes, her son, Lonnie O'dell Carnes, infant son, James Leon Carnes, and brothers and sisters Clyde, Hettie, George, Malachi, and Emma. She was a kind soul who always saw the good in everyone and will be terribly missed by her friends and family. She leaves behind to mourn her passing son, J.R. Carnes and wife Carol of Maryville, daughter-in-law for 46 years, Mary Helen Carnes, grandchildren, James D. (Danny) Carnes of Farragut, Randall Carnes and wife Angie of Maryville, David Carnes and wife Michelle of Maryville, Cheryl Daugherty and husband Willie of Louisville, great-grandchildren, Bethany Carnes and Bryce Carnes of Maryville as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. with Funeral Services at 8pm. Tuesday, March 4, 2008 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with David Cooper officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Ellejoy Cemetery. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000,
