Nola L. Sells Sept. 1, 1916 -- Aug. 22, 2007 Nola Lee (Stamps) Sells, 90, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 22, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Aug. 25 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. James Haynes officiating. Interment was in Creston Cemetery. Mrs. Sells was born Sept. 1, 1916, in Cumberland County, the daughter of Ervin and Sarah (Elmore) Stamps. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Eden Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Norma Jean and Edwin Campbell of Knoxville and Francine and Dewey Deason of Franklin; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Wendy Hodgin Sr. of Pegram, TN and Roger "Rod" and Laura Hodgin of Alaska; sisters, Betty Stephan of Florida and Ruth Martin of Wisconsin; brothers, Cecil Stamps of Hillsboro, OH and Junior Stamps of Manchester, TN; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Ray Hodgin ; second husband, Joe Alex Sells; daughter, Anjou Tucker; and brothers, Delbert Stamps and Vestal Stamps. Pallbearers were her children and grandchildren, David Hodgin Jr., Joe Hodgin , Rickey Campbell, Mickey Campbell, Seth Stoffle, Caleb Stoffle, Joshua Campbell, Eric Swanson, Austin Finck and Alex Silva. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
