Mary Elizabeth Self, 84, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2004 at Asbury Nursing Home in Maryville.
Mary was a longtime member of the Ridgeway Methodist Church.
Preceding Mary in death was her husband, Earl Self; parents, Mack and Halie Grizzle Reed; brothers, Leondas and Ray Reed; sister, Anna Kate Reed.
Leaving behind to mourn her loss, but celebrating her life, are her nieces, Anna Berry, Iva Jean Newton, Carolyn Pratt and Jean Newman. Besides the immediate family, Mary leaves behind her special and dear friends, Charlie and Kathleen Henderson.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at Seven Islands Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Newman officiating. Interment will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 17 in the Davis Room of Rawlings Funeral Home.
