Icenhower, Edna Marie Chambers, age 79 of Maryville, went to be with the Lord Tuesday March 13, 2007 at the family home. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Preceded in death by children, Charles Hughs Dockery, Ronnie Darrell Dockery, parents, Robert and Minnie Swaney Chambers, grandchildren, John A. Myers, Sandra L. Myers, brother, Ross Chambers, sisters, Loretta Crisp, Willie Merl Swaney, in laws, Buford and Vina McMillian Icenhower, sisters in law, Wilma Icenhower and Margie Icenhower. Survived by loving husband of 35 years, Tom Icenhower, daughters and spouses, Ruth and Charles Ward, Linda and Bill Webb, Nina and Austin Potter, sons and spouses, Eddie and Janey Dockery, Clarence and Donna Dockery all of Blount County, step daughter and spouse, Susie and Gary Willocks, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, sister and spouse, Lucille and Lee Thompson, Mae Felty, brothers and spouses, Tommy and Aline Chambers, James and Charlotte Chambers all of GA. Funeral service 3:00 PM Friday March 16, 2007 at Four Mile Baptist Church, Rev. Richard Hill, Rev. Lonnie Swaney officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery, the body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers, Mark Ward, Charlie Ward, Thomas Webb, A.J. Potter, Kenny Bryant, Timothy Bryant, Skip Cooper, Richy Woods. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Green, Blount Memorial Hospital, Home Health and Hospice, Asbury Place. Granddaughters, Cathy Woods, Gail Vance, Tammy Plemons, special friends, Sherry and Doyle Icenhower and the Ward Family’s.
