Robert faithfully attended Bible Baptist Church in Seymour. He was a brick mason by trade for 40 years. He loved music and enjoyed picking his guitar with his friends. He also enjoyed playing golf and he loved his pets. He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Josie Reed, and sister, Sharon Gossett. Survivors: Step-son: Kevin Kelley Sister and brother-in-law: Barbara King and husband Robbie Nephews: Jay and Mark Gossett, Travis Flynn Nieces: Donna Sise and Amy Jones 8 great nieces and nephews Special friends: Jimmy Stephens, Johnny Godfrey, Bobby Smelcer, David and Patty Ingles, and his pet dogs The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday with a funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. David Jeffers and Rev. Terry Parton officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Saturday in Knob Creek Cemetery for graveside service and interment.
