Laura Elizabeth Rainwater Trundle, of Maryville, passed away July 31, 2014. She was born on December 5, 1935, in Sevierville, TN. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Anna Marshall Rainwater and her sister, Nancy Jane Rainwater Gilliam.
Laura is survived by her husband of 59 years, John Nelson Trundle, her children and spouses, Nancy Jane and Jim Hewitt, John Stephen and Robin Trundle, David Marshall Trundle and Linda Anne and Bob Smith; grandchildren, Linda Anne Hewitt, Martha and Robert Selby, William Hewitt, Kirby Trundle, Anna Marshall Trundle, Jacob Trundle and Joshua Trundle; brother-in-law, Ralph Gilliam; nephews, Scott Gilliam, Michael Rex Gilliam and Russell Gilliam; nieces, Sharon Hughes and her namesake, Laura Elizabeth Gilliam Norris, and many great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church, Maryville on Sunday, August 3 from 2:00 - 4:00 with a Celebration of Life service to follow in the sanctuary.
