Stella Reed Rambo, age 89 of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008. In the 1960's Mrs. Rambo founded and served as teacher and director of Jack and Jill Kindergarten. She also served as a teacher and director of the kindergarten program through Muncey Memorial Methodist Church in Johnson City. Mrs. Rambo was employed for many years by the Bank of Sevierville. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sevierville, and she was a member of the Great Smokies Chapter of Daughter of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Kenneth Rambo.
Survivors include her:
Daughter and son-in-law: Lucy and Albert Atchley
Grandchildren: Adam Rambo Atchley and wife Tiffany, Marguerite Schmidt and husband Darren, Reed Temple Atchley and wife Ashley
Great-grandchildren: Kennedy and Addy Atchley, Mason and Alexis Lucy Schmidt
Sister-in-law: Mary Jo Miller and husband Jack Lawson Miller
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Sevier County Health Care Center for their loving care and kindness.

Family and friends will meet 11 AM Saturday in Shiloh Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev. Bobby Ely and Rev. Charlie Harrison officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
