ALLEN, STELLA L. - age 86 of Powell, entered into rest on July 22, 2010. Stella was born on September 23, 1923 in Sevier Co. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Virgil M. Allen, also of Sevier Co.. She will forever be treasured by her sons, Robert D. Allen of Section AL, Harold Allen of Clinton TN, and Steve Allen of Powell TN; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Geraldine Perkinson of Sutherland VA, and Alberta Lewelling of Seymour TN. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 5 pm until 7 pm at Woodhaven Funeral with a funeral service to follow at 7 pm in the chapel. Rev. Dan Shultz will officiate. Graveside services will be on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10:00 am at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will meet at the graveside at 9:45 am.
