She was preceded in death by her father, Ray McCoig; mother and stepfather, Eula Mae and William Webb; brother, Kenneth McCoig; and two infant children, Michelle and Michael. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy James; grandsons, Jacob James , Hunter Workman; granddaughter, Destiny James; aunt, Delores Layman all of Newport; uncles Ronnie Hance, of Newport, Jay Hance of Dandridge; special friends, Kenneth and Leshea Hill and Judy and Bobby Hixon, Pastor and Mrs. Tom Shelton all of Newport . The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, Thursday September 20, 2012 at Manes Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 pm in France Cemetery, with Pastor Tom Shelton officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made toward funeral expenses.
