Mary Kathryn ( Cummings ) Ridenour passed from this world to her reward on January 1, 2011. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born March 11, 1941, in Leslie, Arkansas, to Ross and Xenia Cummings , Kathryn came to Oklahoma, grew up in Sperry and married Windsor Ridenour , former Executive Editor of the Tulsa Tribune. Together, they spent 53 years raising their kids and making a blessed home for all their people. Kathryn was a Life Master Bridge player, scrapbooker, and a vital part of any choir. She grew flowers galore and was one of the best cooks she knew, as she would gladly say. She was an Executive Secretary for years at Blue Cross, served as a jack of all trades at the Turley Bank, and dedicated her life to her church and family. She will be missed by many including her husband, daughter Rebeccah and husband Randy Emberson; son Rob and wife Suzann. Kathryn's grandchildren are Brandon, Patrick, Randilynn and husband T.J., Alexis, Emma, Linzie, Taylor and Zane Windsor. Kathryn also leaves behind four great-grandchildren, Eli, Evie, Talan and Rowyn. Kathryn was an exceptional person who will be missed by many. Donations in Kathryn's name may be made to the Avant Methodist Church. Services will be 2PM, Wednesday, January 5th, at the Avant Methodist Church.
