Lou Tish McDaniel, age 96 of Lenoir City, passed away Monday, February 9, 2009 at the Loudon Healthcare Center. She was a founding and lifelong member of Lee Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Roger McDaniel; daughter, Dottie Roberts; step daughters, Sylvia Sharp and Betty Coffman; parents, Isaac and Ettie Presley; all of her brothers and sisters. Survived by her daughter, Janie Roberts and husband, Johnny of Lenoir City; foster children, Jimmy Brown of Memphis and Charles Brown of Knoxville; granddaughters, Elizabeth Myers and husband, Scott, Doris McCulloch and Carol Arden; grandson, Ray Roberts and wife, Jessica; great grandchildren, Alex, Cody, Gracie, Brianna, Brandon, Jacob, Dustin, Brittany, Robert and Ashleigh; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bo Selvage and Rev. Beaver Branham officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. Thursday and proceed to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services at 11 a.m. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is serving the McDaniel.
