Billy Howard Pitner of Knoxville, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007. He was born May 18, 1936, in Seymour. Billy served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by parents John and Pearl Pitner; brother Tommy Pitner. Survivors include his sons and their wives, Richard and Juanita of Great Falls, Mont., Keith and Laurie of Chicago, Ill., Russ and Juile of Marysville, Wash., and Douglass of Seymour; brothers, Freddy and wife Sharon, Buddy and wife Debbie of Seymour; sisters, Wilma and husband Carroll Huff of Seymour, Mary and husband Larry Kosel Newport; sister-in-law Katherine of Seymour; grandchildren Alex and Michael of Chicago, Gavin, Colin and Sean of Washington, and Bianca of Great Falls, Mont.; great-grandson Dominic of Great Falls; and special friend, Sue Evanoff. No funeral services will be held. A memorial will be set at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that all donations be made to Adventa Hospice Services, 1420 Dutch Valley Drive, Suite C, Knoxville, Tenn 37918.
