Trent Pierce, born August 17, 1978, age 26 of Greenback died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center. He was a member of R.I.O. Church and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a loving father to Brayden Thomas, and a wonderful husband and son. Preceded in death by: grandparents, Fred and Helen Pierce, William Burchell. Survivors include: wife, Sarah Pierce; son, Brayden Thomas Pierce and unborn son, Trenton Jackson Pierce both of Greenback; parents, Sam and Suzanne Pierce; mother, Donna Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Greg Horton; niece, Lily Horton; nephew, Alex Horton all of Knoxville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tom and Debbie O'Dell of Maryville; brother-in-law, Andy O'Dell of Maryville; grandmother, Anna Burchell; several uncles, aunts, cousins; special friends, J.J. LaRue and Matthew Clark. Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2005 at R.I.O. Church with Rev. Ronnie Hepperly and Rev. Dale Buchanan officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 12, 2005 at Ellejoy Baptist Church Cemetery. Please meet with the family at 10:15 a.m. at Smith Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the account of Brayden Thomas Pierce, in memory of his daddy, Trent. Donations can be made at any CBBC Branch.
