Preceded in death by infant daughter, Doris Gail Myers; husband, Elmer T. Myers; parents, Mike H. & Mary Brown Tipton; brother in law, Luther Boling; sister in law, Elfreda Perkins Tipton. Survivors include, brothers, Hugh H. Tipton, Carson M. Tipton, Sr. and wife, Ina Huskey Tipton of Walland, Mike H. and Thelma Foxx Tipton of Maryville, Bruce and Sue Tipton of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Grace Boling of Maryville; sisters and brothers in law, Eunice and W.T. Reed, Gladys and Cliff Reed all of Maryville; special aunts, Mrs. Angeline Roberts of Maryville, Mrs. Charlotte Riddle of Reserve, NM; uncles, Jesse Brown, Jr. of Maryville, Howard Brown of Ala.; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; a host of cousins, relatives, friends. Funeral service will be at 8 p.m. Sunday July 8, 2001, Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. George Macht officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Monday July 9, 2001 at Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
