CALHOUN, Ga. -- David Lee Peek of Atlanta died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998, in an Atlanta hospital. He was 35. The Chattanooga native was a graduate of Calhoun High School and had attended Berry College, where he participated in drama, debate and public speaking. He also held a bachelor of arts degree from the Atlanta College of Art and was a member of the Georgia Board of Realtors. He had lived in Atlanta for the past 15 years and was a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Samuel D. and Pauline Hodges Peek , Calhoun; and a brother, Dale Peek , Marietta. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Calhoun First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Thomas Funeral Home, Calhoun, today from 6 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons or the Youth Bus Fund at Calhoun First United Methodist Church [S147] Find a Grave, (Memorial: 68871141).
