Horace L.(Junior) Boring, age 79, of Maryville, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013, at Tennova Residential Hospice. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, Retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company and was a member of the twenty-five year club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Estelle Boring; parents, Leonard and Lena Carver Boring, Infant brother JT, Brothers Leon and Warren Boring, Sister Ada Hearon, Brother in Law Marlow Hearon. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Anne Boring, Bill and Judy Parrott; daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Doug Albright, Brothers Paul, Ernest and wife Shelby Boring, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2013 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Rex Everett officiating. Family and friends will gather 11:00 AM Saturday November 2, 2013, at New Providence Baptist Church for the interment. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville, (865) 982-6041, www.millerfuneralhome.org.
