Member and Sunday School Teacher of Seven Islands Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Retired from Knoxville Transit Lines in 1988 and after retirement founded Southside Cutlery at his home. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army in France and Germany. Preceded in death by: parents, Hunley M. and Myrtle Josephine Noe first wife, Levon Palmer Noe brothers, Winfred , Melvin, Fred, and Carl Noe. Survived by: wife, Bernice Noe step-daughter, Brenda Henson sons and daughters-in-law, Everett, Jr. and Linda Noe, Roger and Brenda Noe daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and David Estes- Burns, TN 13 grandchildren 18 great-grandchildren brother, Troy Noe sister, Brenda Knight several nieces and nephews special friend, Rev. Billy Carrigan. Funeral 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2005, Berry Chapel, Rev. Troy Cody officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Seven Islands Cemetery for interment services. Military Honors will be provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be: grandsons and Honorary Pallbearers will be: nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, www.berryfuneralhome.com.
