She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edna Finchum Parrott; son, Johnny Dean Parrott; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Horace L. “Jr.” Boring; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Judy Parrott, and Dale and Anne Boring; daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Doug Albright; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Boyd Parrott, Jimmy Parrott, and Ray Parrott; sisters, Shelby Boring, Ruth Breeden, and Mary D. “Annie” Hatcher; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service will be held 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2010, at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia chapel, with Rev. Willard Willis officiating. The interment service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Old Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
