OTT, SAMUEL EARL - age 66, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday morning, November 25, 1998, at the family home. He was a member of Central Point Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Minnie Tarwater Ott; brothers, Paul, Albert and Jesse Ott. Survivors: son, Paul Ott of Rockford; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Louvada Ott, Lester and Pam Ott, all of Knoxville; daughters, Sherry McMahan and Amy McMahan, both of Karns; grandchildren, David, Matthew, and Kayla Ott; great-grandchild, Adaira Ott; brothers and sisters-in-law, Otis and Millie Ott of Madisonville, James "Bob" and Ruth Ott of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday, November 27, 1998, Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Clarence Richardson officiating. Interment to follow at Central Point Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
