Preceded in death by parents, Dennis and Magdalene King husband, James F. Newman , and son, Chucky Newman . Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Rickey and Connie Newman , Randy and Peggy Newman of Knoxville daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Paul Parsons of Corryton daughter,, Teresa Newman of Knoxville grandchildren, Dewayne, Shannon, Rickey Jr., Randy, Jason, Crystal, and Britt step grandchildren, Tommy, Johnny, and April great-grandson, Adam sisters and brothers-in-law, June and Carl Greenway, Carol and Walter Brewer, and several nieces and nephews, and Scooter. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Berry Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Miller officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Sunday and proceed to Seven Islands Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service and interment. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
