Mr. Evans was a Vietnam Veteran in the US Army. He loved his grandbabies and loved to fish. Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his mother Roxie Evans, father Edgar Evans, brother Ray Evans, sisters Winnie Mae Smith, Mary Lawson, Phyllis Evans, and Sally Boling, son Samuel L. Evans II, grandson Dakota R. Hatfield and granddaughter Kortney Evans.
