Survived by wife Jean; his children and spouses, Robert Bruce and Pat Settle of Sevierville, Samuel Monroe Settle of Heiskell, Pamela Frances and Michael McMillan of Knoxville, Patricia Eugenia and Greg Cobble of Knoxville and Elizabeth Alice and Jonathon Finchum of Heiskell; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; brothers Ford L. Settle of Heiskell and Dr. Robert E. Settle and wife Joan of Seymour; many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday at 7 pm in the Fountain City Chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home with Brother Tony Greene and Dr. Robert Settle officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday at 12:45 pm at Shiloh Cemetery in Pigeon Forge for interment at 1 pm. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City.
