Robert Mack Raines, Jr. “Tow Bar”, age 81 of Fountain City, passed away August 16, 2011, at home. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Korean War Service Medal. Preceded in death by his wife, Dossie Raines; parents, Robert, Sr. and Eva P. Raines Brewer; three sisters, Charlotte Williams, Opal Wyatt and Mamie Long; brother, Chester Raines. Survived by son, David Raines; daughter, Roberta Raines; step-daughter, Lawana Theisen; granddaughter, Tracy Lee; brother, James Raines; half-brothers, Joe Brewer and Charles Brewer; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 9:15 am Thursday at the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for graveside services at 9:30 am with Rev. Joe Norris officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City. www.mynattfh.com
