MANIS, DONALD WAYNE - age 50, died June 12, 2007, due to his illness and out of respect for his wishes, he passed away at his home. He is now joined in Heaven with his father: Donald Ralph Manis; grandfathers: Clyde Manis, William Francis Day and William C. Robertson (Papaw Clint); grandmothers: Effie Manis and Saguine Day Robertson; loving uncle: Buddy Wayne Day (Uncle Bud). Survived by: his only daughter: Brandi LeAnn Manis; grandsons: Benjiman Edward Archer and Ashton Kyle Edmundson; mother: Billie Day Manis; sisters: Donna Lee Manis and her daughter Maranda Manis; Ann Wagner and husband Ronald Wayne, Kathy Jean Burton and husband Charles; aunt: Vivian Annette Day and several aunts and uncles also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great nieces and great nephews and various cousins. Also respective friends with highest regards to Leland Lamb "Pockets", Eddie Sutton, Chris Cruze and Jerry Shultz. Wayne's daughter, Brandi L. Manis, would like to extend a very special "Thank You" to Wayne's brother-in-law, Charles Burton and friends, Eddie Sexton and Leland Lamb "Pockets", for all their devoted help in my daddy's time of need and during his darkest hours. Also to Ben Archer, Papaw wants you to always remember that you were his sun and moon, his soul and heart, and from your memories...he'll never depart. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Saturday Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev Charles Burton officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers: Brandi Manis, Leland "Pockets" Lamb, Eddie Sutton, Chris Cruze, Todd Wagner, Chad Archer.
