Trotter, Marion Estella Gose (age 80) died on February 18, 2004. She was born on June 12, 1923 in Knoxville, Tennessee, and continued living in Knoxville the majority of her life. She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1941 (Class of 41-B), and subsequently married Troy C. Trotter. In many ways, she built her life around the lives of her children, supporting their many endeavors - wiping away tears when they were sad, laughing when they were happy. As they grew to adulthood, she reentered the workforce. She was most proud of her accomplishments and responsibilities at Kenworth of Tennessee, where she was employed for twenty-five years. In reflecting on her life, we are reminded of Paul’s comments: “. . . the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:6-7). Our Mother, Grandmother, and Cherished Friend was a child of God, and it is to God she returns!
