Billy Ray Moore, age 77 of Gatlinburg, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016. He was a member of Brush Arbor Baptist Church in Gatlinburg. He worked many years at Mass Transit in Gatlinburg. Bill loved to fish, and loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bula and Shea Moore and his infant sister, Mary Louise Moore.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen Moore; sons and daughter-in-law, Rickie Griffin, Billy and Paula England; daughters and son-in-law, Connie and Ronnie Bohanan, Bula Floyd; grandchildren, Amanda George, Nicole Griffin, Ronnie Bohanan, Jeffrey Pike, Tiffany Floyd, Terry Floyd, Christie Carver, Charlie Griffin, Eric England, Cody England, Cheyenne Sharp; sixteen great-grandchildren; special friends, Buddy Parton, Scott Price and a host of others.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brush Arbor Baptist Church Building Fund, 3454 Bluebird Ridge Way, Sevierville, TN 37876.
The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Sunday with funeral service to follow at 4 PM in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Brother Mike Rue and Brother J.D. Grasty officiating. Family and friends will leave Atchley Funeral Home in procession at 10:30 AM Monday to Zion Hill Cemetery for graveside service and interment.
