Preceded in death by her husband, Victor Dell Maples; son, David Lee Maples; parents, Rev. Fred and Lula Stiles; brothers, Ralph, Mart, Roland, Fred, Harold and Charles Stiles. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Gary Kroll of Tellico Plains; grandchildren, Jeff Jones, Jamie and Chrissy Loveday of Tellico Plains, Mark and Vicki Maples, Lori and Arthur Carroll, David and Becky Jones, Lisa and Tony Woods, all of Madisonville; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Icelone Johnson of Dandridge, Mrs. Pauline Hancock; special sisters in the Lord, Jean Stiles, Charlotte Long, Louise Douglas of Sweetwater; several nieces and nephews. Funeral 1 p.m. Thursday, McCarty Chapel with Rev. Gary Stiles officiating. Interment will follow in Thorngrove Cemetery. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be nephews.
