December 6, 1949 - January 23, 2017 Resided in Sevierville, TN Lloyd Myers, 67, of Sevierville passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. He was born December 6, 1949 in Sevier County. Lloyd was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the DAV. He was also a member of Red Bank Baptist Church. Lloyd retired after 32 years of service for the state of Tennessee, TDOT. He loved to fish, visit with his buddies, play solitaire, and to spend quality time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Helen Myers; and his sister-in-law, Anita Barrett. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of almost 23 years, Shirlene Myers; daughters, Kimberly Myers and husband, Jr., Morgan Myers and fiancé, Matthew, and Cecilia "Sissy"; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Doreen Myers, Stanley and Shirley Myers, Garry and Iva Myers, Ronnie and Bonnie Myers; sisters-in-law, Wilma Webb and husband, Billy, and Maxine Taylor; many beloved nieces and nephews; extended family, Kenny Shular, Al Monteagudo, Linda and Tanner Smelcer, Kingston, and all his special friends at Kenjos. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Atchley Funeral Home to benefit the family. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Friday, January 27th with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Rev. Danny Sutton will be officiating. Family and friends will leave at 10:30 AM Saturday from Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville to Myers Family Cemetery for the graveside service and interment.
