Billy Crockett Allen, age 82, of Sevierville, passed away at his home Monday, September 28, 2015. He was born August 4, 1933 to Wilfred Crockett Allen and Pauline Stott Allen at the home of his Grandparents, William and Ollie Robertson Stott whom precede him. He was also preceded in death by his Father and Mother-in-law, William and Winnie Murphy; and his infant Daughter, Janet Lee Allen.
Billy is survived by his Wife, Helen Murphy Allen; Sons, Bill K. Allen and wife, Marian, Terry Allen and wife, Joni, Scott Allen, and David Allen and wife, Kathy; Grandsons, Charles Allen, Aaron Allen, Bradley Allen, and Shane Lear; Granddaughters, Stacy Allen, Alisa Boyd and husband, Torrace, Kristy Hundley and husband, Jason, Laura Allen, and Stacie Miller; Great-grandsons, Darren Boyd, T.J. Boyd, and Asa Lear; Great-granddaughters, Kayla Boyd, Tory Boyd, Kelby Taylor, Kailey Gregg, Elaine Greer, Macy Miller, and Avery Lear; Aunt Sue Allen; and several cousins.
Billy has been a member of Middle Creek Methodist Church since he was a young teenager. His great love was the farm. He was a Mason and was employed by TDOT for forty five years.
The family wishes to express their sincerest appreciation to the girls from Amedisys Home Health Care and UT Hospice services, especially his beloved Florence.
Memorial donations may be made to Middle Creek Cemetery or Murphy's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Saturday, October 3rd with the Memorial Service to follow at 7 PM at Murphy's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Fred Heard officiating. He will be privately laid to rest at Middle Creek Cemetery.
