NEWMAN, BEULAH OGLE — age 87 of Jefferson City, TN, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. She was an active member of Magna View Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Eva Ogle and sister, Una Ogle Cline.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel G. Newman; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Janice Newman; daughter and son-in-law, Steve and Mary Nell Newman Drinnon; six grandchildren, Michael Newman, Sandi Brewer Castellaw, Leanne Newman Carpenter, Doug Drinnon, Anita Drinnon Haney, and Adam Newman; eight great- grandchildren; special friend and sister-in-law, Tootie Newman; sisters, Ruth Ogle Lewis and Audrey Ogle Line; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2004 from the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend George Miller officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2004 at the funeral home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
