VESSER, SANDRA K. (SANDY) ALEXANDER - 51 of New Market, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2005, at St. Mary's Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a devoted member of Holston Baptist Church. A retired Nurse having worked at Jefferson County Nursing Home and Life Care of Jefferson City. A member of Eastern Star and served in local and foreign missionary fields.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Irwin and Opal Alexander.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Vesser of New Market; sister, Anita Eslinger, Strawberry Plains; brothers, Dr. Tim Alexander, Florence, Ky., Mike Alexander, Dandridge and Tommy Alexander of Strawberry Plains; several other relatives and friends; special pet, Oscar.
Funeral service 8 p.m. Sunday at Holston Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Young and Rev. Wayne Trent officiating. Interment 2 p.m. Monday at Eastview Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the church prior to services. Arrangements by Fielden Funeral Home, New Market.
