MONEYMAKER, CLIFTON - age 84 of Knoxville, passed away March 11, 2012 at Park West Medical Center. Clifton enjoyed country music and played many string instruments including the guitar, fiddle and mandolin. He also enjoyed gardening and enjoyed his little poodle, Brandy, which he loved as part of his family. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jo McNeely Moneymaker; parents, Curtis D. and Maude O. Jones Moneymaker; 4 brothers, Victor, Curtis, Paul and Edward; stepson, Don Hensley. Survivors: wife: Barbara Hensley Moneymaker; children: David Moneymaker, Barbara King, Evelyn Messamore; step children: Bob Hensley, Cherie Chapman; grandchildren: Michael and Kimberly Rogers and children, Chris and Jolene Moneymaker and children Melissa and Jason Loy and children Doug Messamore, Clifton Messamore, Allen Messamore, Donnie and Kelli Hensley and children Amie Hensley, Michael and Vanessa Hensley and child Joey Hensley, Christian Chapman, Trent Chapman. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 17th from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.
