Claude Pitner, age 83, passed away Monday March 15, 2004, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Mr. Pitner is a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church and a former member, Deacon, and Brotherhood President of Sevier Heights Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. He retired from the City of Knoxville Fire Department as Captain. Mr. Pitner was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Veteran of WWII, where he served in the China-Burma-India Theater.

Daughters and son-in-law: Claudette Pitner Litz of Franklin, TN, Theresa Pitner Collins and husband Stan of Nashville, TN
Grandchildren: Dwayna Lynn Litz of Santa Monica, CA, Claude Ross Litz and wife Diana of Franklin, TN, Theresa Hope Collins of Nashville, TN, and Reagan Burnett Collins of Nashville, TN
Great-grandchildren: Asha Collins of Nashville, Jake and Luke Litz of Franklin, TN and Mason Collins of Mt. Juliet, TN
The family would like to give a special thanks to Doctors Wm. Reid, Franklin, TN Clint Doiron, Eric Dickenson, and Marvin H. Vickers of Knoxville.
