CHILDRESS, PATSY "PATTI" age 68, of South Knoxville, went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 13, 2012, after a battle with cancer. Patti was the owner and operator of Patti's Play House Daycare Center. Her caring spirit will be missed by her family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Johnny and Margaret Hodges . Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Lori Jo and Mickey Rudder, and son, Creed Childress ; grandchildren, Seth and Zoie Jo Rudder and Colby, Storm and Lainy Childress ; sisters, Janie Shaffer and Kathy Willbanks; brothers, Eddie Hodges , Kenny Hodges and Jimmy Hodges ; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Beulah United Methodist Church, 907 Kimberlin Heights Rd., Knoxville, TN 37920.
