Grace Hatcher, a very loving and sweet wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother has peacefully passed away. Grace Patty Hatcher of Walland, TN, was taken into the loving arms of God and his angels on Saturday morning, September 14, 2013, at Baptist Health Care Center in Lenoir City, TN. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Carol Hatcher McConnell and husband, Ben, of Farragut and Christine Hatcher Teffeteller Hart Fuller of Maryville; brother, Calvin Coolidge Patty and family in Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Christie Howell and husband, Mike; Angie Prichett and husband, Mike; Buffie Lambert and husband, Eric; great-grandchildren, Michael Howell and wife, Jessica; Rebecca Johnson and husband, Josh; Amanda Prichett, Kalie Prichett; Josh Lambert, Matthew Lambert; several loving nieces and nephews; very special nephew-in-law, Max Hodge and wife, Wanda; very special friends, Vonnie and Jack Walker. After marriage, Grace completed her GED. Most of her working years were spent as secretary to her beloved brother, Hubert D. Patty, attorney-at-law. She also was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Grace was the longest living continuous member of West Miller's Cove Missionary Baptist Church. God, family, and country were always priorities with her. She served within many capacities of her church. Grace enjoyed painting, poetry, crossword puzzles, crypto-grams, playing the piano and singing, and competitive games. She loved and appreciated all that nature has to offer and had a wonderful sense of humor. We have lost a wonderful treasure, but she will always be with us. She has had so much influence on our lives. We have been so blessed to have her and will love and remember her exemplary life for the remainder of our lives. We would especially like to thank the many professionals who were so helpful, thoughtful, and loving to Grace and her family: the staff at Baptist Health Care Center and Dr. Patel in Lenoir City; Edward Harper of Senior Service Emotional Health and Recovery Center, Blount Memorial Hospital; Dr. Daugherty, UTK Neurology Center, and the staff at Asbury Assisted Living, Maryville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Smith Trinity Chapel, Maryville, TN, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m., with Reverend R.
