He was a member of First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Dora McNabb, and brother, William Lyle McNabb. He is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Perle Cody McNabb, of Newport; children, Steven and Lindsey McNabb, of Johnson City, and Donna and Don Williams, of N.C.; grandsons, Daniel and Lucas McNabb, of Johnson City. Funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2004, at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rich Lloyd officiating. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Union Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Stokely Memorial Library, 383 East Broadway, Newport, TN 37821. Manes in charge.
