He was retired from General Electric Co. with 25 years of service and was the chief of security at Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum for many years. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Belva Lou McCroskey Glaspie Daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Mike Roach Grandson: Matthew Roach Special friend: Leola Roach Brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Kent and Annette McCroskey The family wants to give special thanks to Dr. Glenn Hall, Dr. Clint Doiron, Dr. Johann Herberth and the nurses and CNA's on Tower 2, COU 2 C and COU 1 C. The family requests memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church Sevierville, 317 Parkway, Sevierville,TN 37862. Funeral service 7PM Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Sevierville with Rev. Jerry Hyder officiating. Eulogy by Mr. Jim Atchley and music by Rev. Scott Andrews. Family and friends will meet 1PM Wednesday at Highland South for interment with Rev. W.A.
