Allen L. McCoig-age 84, of Sevierville, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 5, 2011. He is preceded in death by wife Mildred E. McCoig; parents; numerous brothers and sisters; son-in-law Howard R. Shorter. Allen is survived by daughter Peggy Shrader and husband Danny; brothers Chester McCoig and Oda McCoig; grandchildren Roger Shorter and wife Keva; Stacy Kennedy and husband Bill; great grandchildren Autumn Shorter and Dakota Shorter. Visitation services will be Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 12: 00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Highland South Memorial Park Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
