HOOD, CALVIN CARRICK (CC) - born February 4, 1921, went to be with his Lord and Savior, March 27, 2010. CC was a member of Stock Creek Baptist Church, a veteran of WW II, retired from Smiths Freight Line and a member of Teamsters Local 519. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Sara Lee Hood; son, Sullivan; son-in-law, Roland Bell; brothers, Clarence, Harrison and Hubert Hood; sisters, Daisy Lee, Margaret Seavers and her daughter, Mary Lee. Survived by wife, Goldie Mary Lee Miller Hood; children, Sara Mynatt and husband, Bill, Linda Bell, Tommy M. Hood; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, Monday with the service to follow with Pastor Rocky Glenn officiating.
