James “Jim” Robert McClure, age 69, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday evening, January 13, 2009 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Freedom to Worship Pentecostal Church. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Grace McClure and Cranson and Bertha Miller; brothers, Grant, Jones, Bud, and Paul Miller; sisters, Troy Dalton, Ruth Underwood, and Lillian Miller. Survivors include his wife, Patricia McClure; daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Sergio Martinez Jr. of Maryville; son and daughter in law, Doug and Sarah McClure of Knoxville; son, David McClure; grandchildren, Kaley, Brittany, and Brandi; sisters, Goldie Hood of Rockford, and Alice French of Knoxville; sisters in law, Huella Miller, Blanche Miller, and Siti Miller all of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all of Jim’s doctors and nurses for all the wonderful care that they gave. Funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at Miller Funeral Home Cedar Chapel, Rev. Floyd Lambert officiating. Graveside service and interment 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville, (865) 982-6041, www.millerfuneralhome.org.
