MILLER, HENRY PAUL - age 82, of South Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at the UT Medical Center following a brief illness. He was a member of Central Point Baptist Church. Mr. Miller worked for Johnson & Galyon Construction for many years, and he was a member of Local Carpenters Union # 50. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Cranson & Bertha Miller two sisters, Joyce Dalton and Lillian Cook 2 brothers, Grant & Jones Miller 3 brothers-in-law, Lawrence, Roy, & Mack Davenport. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Blanche Miller 2 daughters, Becky Reed & husband Roy, and Paula Trew & husband Dave of Franklin, TN 3 grandchildren, Michael Sayne & wife Holly, Tyler Trew, and Missy Crabtree 2 great-grandchildren, Hannah Sayne and Kristi Vineyard 4 sisters, Alice French, Ruth Underwood, Goldie Hood & husband C.C., and Penny Miller 4 brothers, Jim McClure & wife Pat, Charles Miller, Roger Miller, Bud Miller & wife Siti sisters-in-law, Huella Miller, Ruth Hood & husband Bill, Jo Davenport, Devone Brant & husband Ed brothers-in-law, Leroy "Bud" Dalton and Jack Davenport & wife Priscilla ex-son-in-law, Mickey Sayne and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 16, 2003, from 5-8 p.m. at Highland South Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Highland South Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Guy Milam officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 17, 2003, at the Highland South Memorial Park Mausoleum at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 4708 Papermill Drive, Knoxville, TN 37909.
