He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Faye Gregg; father, Alfred Gregg; and sister, Wilmetta Hensley. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Bruce Williamson; daughter, Brenda Reece, all of Newport; daughter and son-in-law, Alfreda and Scott Hooper, of Cosby; mother, Martha Gregg; brother, Harold Gregg of Newport; eight grandchildren; Lonnie, Vanessa, Amanda, Dewayne, Chris, Tina, Alexandra and Madison; and nine great grandchildren. He will be forever in our hearts. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, July 26, 2009 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gene Gorrell officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
