Chandler McGill age 87, of Knoxville passed away at his home Friday April 3, 2009. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and was awarded five Bronze Stars, two silver stars, and the Congressional Medal of Honor.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sylvester and Mimie Drinnen McGill, sister Hazel Knott, brothers, Earl, and Ray McGill.

Wife: Blanche Reno McGill
Daughter: Channia Miller and husband Howard, and Patsy McGill and husband Ronnie
Grandchildren: Sharr Ruckhart and husband David, Schadler McGill
Great Grandchild: Chiannah Ruckhart
Funeral Service 10AM Monday in the chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Don Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Tedford Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post #104. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
