YARDLEY, LLOYD ALLEN - age 79, of Mascot, Tenn. passed away Sunday, October 24,1999 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Mr. Yardley was a U.S. Army veteran having served during WWII. He was a member of Mascot Baptist Church. Mr. Yardley was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph R. and Carrie Yardley; two sisters, Dorothy H. Clark, and Grace E. Mills; and a brother Joseph R. Yardley, Jr. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Margaret Yardley of Mascot; daughters, Judye Wilson of Seymour, Gayle Elkins and husband Keith of Knoxville; four grandchildren, Ronda Hardin and husband Darrell, Tracye Foster and husband Timothy, Shannon Wilson, Britney Wolfenbarger and husband Kenneth; two great-grandchildren, Lindsey Hardin and Landon Foster; brothers, Arthur M. Yardley of Louisana, Samuel H. Yardley, and Johnny S. Yardley, both of Knoxville; and one sister, Margaret McGill of Mascot. Mr. Yardley is at Highland South Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Military graveside service will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday in Highland South Cemetery with Rev. Keith Elkins officiating. Pallbearers will be, Johnny S. Yardley, Samuel H. Yardley, Thomas McGill, Jr., Timothy Foster, Darrell Hardin, and Bill Lawson. Arrangements by Highland South Funeral Home, 573-7300.
